Grey Wolf...

I liked this episode, the intro was genuinely scary. I've never been
in an apple orchard, and now I'm not sure if I ever want to
(particularly at night).

I'd like to have heard more exposition about the myths behind the
scarecrow. The brief explanation about the Norse Vanir was a little
too brief for my tastes.

Oh, and Mrs. B. (from FX's "Over There") is taking a surprising role
this time around. It turns out that Sam going back to Dean just might
have saved Sam's life.

I don't watch this show, so care to explicate about Nicki Aycox's (Mrs.
B) role in this one?...

Good episode, it even went by at a fast clip for me... so I'll give it
a 4.

I think the effects are superior, the stories are just OK, but the
real problem for me is these 2 guys have zero chemistry.

Do you mean together? As actors?

I think Ackles is having a lot of fun with the humorous aspects of his
character and its coming through on screen and makes the show better.

2.75. It was pretty pedestrian most of the way but the last few minutes
perked it up, but strangely I guessed there was something wrong with the
hitchhiker

I knew there was something up with her, you don't just put a character
into the story to that degree, then drop her at the last minute. The
whole "they're watching us" thing kept coming up and she kept hanging
around, even though she shouldn't be.

2.5 Really predictable, but it held my attention. I would have given
it a bit more, if not for the cardboard overlay of soap opera.

Just watched my copy tonight and really like it a lot.

If this poll were still open I would give it a solid four. The series
is improving little by little and if given the chance for a second
season I think they could really make some nice tv. Loved the bit with

Supernatural apparently is WB's highest-rated show from what one of the
wire stories said. So they're talking about a Smallville-Supernatural
night, and maybe a Vernoica Mars-Gilmore Girls night.

She is supposed to return to bedevil the brothers. Although her evil
ways might not be entirely of her own doing.

IMO it didn't seem likely that the writers threw her in to that episode
for no reason. Some of it looked like a gimmick to separate the guys
so one could have a solo adventure, but she didn't need to be evil for
that.

I suppose the revelation of evil could have been just for frisson, but
it seemed to me more like a set-up.
