"Unfinished Business"
12-1-06 BSG
John Schilling...

Actually, they seem to have decided some time ago that the
music in this show was going to have a fair ammount of Celtic
influence. This makes sense; it's a military-themed show
Obveeus...
|
There was a moment when they showed Lee Adama dancing and his 'true colors'
shown through. Instead of acting like Lee Adama, he was clearly acting like
some little priss actor doing the River Dance.
|
that is supposed to resonate with real-world events and
institutions, and IRL there's a strong Celtic influence in
Western military culture.
More Scots-Gaelic than Irish on the martial side, but an
extension to, as you put it, "Riverdance-ish music" for
Colonial social gatherings is reasonably consistent.

4.0
Hard to watch, but it fills in the story and fleshes out the
characters.
I hope there are no more episodes like this.

Stephen Adams...
|
A 'character development' and 'exposition' episode...with some good info
on what went on between Lee & Starbuck. Although I usually don't like
Adam Russell...
|
I thought it established that he had had feelings for her even before. He
had to, for her to look good to him in that dress.
|
the 'flashback' style stories, this one not only worked, but was, IMHO,
better than if told at the time...wondering what was up between them and
seeing the tension and THEN revealing the reason, made the story play
better.
4.25
(-1 for boxing, + .25 for Adama's fight with Tyrol)

Can I go into negative numbers?

Christopher Basken...

The Tyrol/Adama fight was 5 stars.
The rest was 3 stars.
So I guess it averages to 4.

Ma be not perfect business, but I can do it for part-time job is okay
and help the other people learning interest. Otherwise the 24 hours
reading and testing program is good at home.
Mandarin and Eglish language are very important in the world,
so the world language party for me is very good accommodate to read.
Are you go to learning center playing and test youself ? I give you the

Loved the teaser, and it just got better after that with that
edge-of-your-seat cringe-drama that Galactica is so good at. I wager
4.6
and a partially roasted marshmellon.

4.25. I knocked off .25 from the score because boxing bores me and there
was too much of it here.
David Barnett...
|
Ditto but I'm knocking 3.75 off for the boxing, and 0.25 for the flasback.
So I give it 1.0
Actually I think it is the worst episode of the whole series so far.

Lots of Adama skin (woof!), and some background on the tensions between
characters.

3 1/2 STARS! great episode. Finally explained some things that
happened on New Caprica and why Lee became depressed enough to let
himself get fat. Really no Baltar, so that hurt the episode in my
bllbickel...
|
No Baltar last episode either (IIRC, we saw him for only a moment from
the back -- in bed -- so it might have been a double). Sounds as if
somebody needed some time off for another project.

Well Baltar had lines and everything in the groundbreaking last night,

I think they wore those big, fluffy gloves so they wouldn't do any
serious damage. It doesn't require a concussion to knock someone out,
but why weren't they wearing those helmets that Olympic boxers wear?
|
though I would guess the NC scenes were filmed when the NC eps were.
In Hero, I think we saw him face on in the Cylon CIC chatting apparently
aimibly with a male cylon.

point of view, but the characters were great and I loved the story. I
was a big critic of the last episode so I was glad to see that the show
returned to normal this week.
