I think this is a pretty good reality show. It seems like AI but nicer.
The producer is tough but his comments are at least more productive then
Simon Cowell. He also seems to be nicer about dumping people. The
director who like Paula is cute but seems to be more shy. I want to know
more of what she thinks and is looking for she is almost too laidback.
The guy who created Grease like the director a bit too laidback but when
he talks what he says seems to be important.
I had wished the very petite brunette had continued she had a nice voice
and I think would have made a nice Sandy.
Did they dump the girl whose voice kept cracking? I hope so. She seemed
to have a definate finate range.
Of the 6 potential Sandy's I am not sure who I would pick. None of the 6
impressed me.
The soap opera guy must go. He looks way too effeminate to be a 50s
tough guy and leader of his pack. For a 50s male cheerleader squad yes
but not as a tough guy.
Of the remaining 6 men I would chose the one with the slightly curly
hair. Yes he has a ways to go to look like he could pass for someone
living in the 50s but he has the voice talent and persona.
I actually like this show more then AI. It seems slightly more realistic
then AI with the lack of pizazz and nastiness in a way it seems also
more professional then AI.
Granted the winners have to work with the director and producer far more
closely then the winners of AI have to deal with Simon and gang once
they win.

I've been watching it; one thing I'm finding hard is that with the
exception of a couple of guys it's hard to root for anyone. They all
kinda look alike and sing the same songs :)
If I were paying for a Broadway show I'd like someone on the stage that
can project and sing well. The one you call soap opera guy would fit
that; he can get his hair dyed. John Travolta wasn't all that
masculine back when, either :)
