Pax/i on DirecTV

The Pax/i carriage dispute with DirecTV may have been resolved.

In the San Francisco DMA, DirecTV is mirroring local channel 65
on channel 255. The program guide listings are identical.
When looking at program information for a channel 255 program,
the time/channel detail indicates channel 65.

I'd like to know whether those who previously didn't receive
a local PAX affiliate from DirecTV can receive channel 255.

I subscribe to locals, which don't include any PAX station.
I do get channel 255.

Since my posting on 18 May, I've discovered that channel 255
is replacing the PAX/i channel in local markets via mirroring to the
local channel number. In my quoted posting above, I had the mirroring
backwards.

There may be a few local markets which still receive different
programming on the two digit Pax/i local channel and channel 255.
In a number of local markets channel 255 is mapped to the two
digit channel number which previously carried the local PAX affiliate.

This is probably a good outcome for the carriage dispute between
PAX/i and DirecTV. The local channel properties can be sold off
without losing national coverage on DirecTV.
