Let me give you a date range, I am 31 years old, as a young boy I
watched a cartoon but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was
called.
What I remember is this:
- it was about a boy who could get into the cockpit of a robot
- I think the cockpit was in or around the head area of the robot
- the boy had total control of the robot once he was inside
- I'm pretty sure he helped save a situation from evil or something bad
Other that that I cannot remember any more details. Please help this
80's kid, any ideas would be great.
Richard Evans...
Thank you SO much.

Was it Frankenstein Jr? That dates from the sixties, and I don't rememember
much about it, but that's what comes to mind from your description.

No Frankenstein Jr was autonomous. Buzz the creator's kid road on his
shoulders and called him with a special ring.

Russell Watson...
|
Buzz Conroy rode on Frankie's shoulder when he flew, NOT inside his
head or any part of his body! Frankie was an automaton, not a piece of
MechWarrior armor!

But if I could be hazy about where Buzz rode (though after I posted
I did remember more clearly that he rode on his shoulder), then can't
it also be possible that the poster I was replying to was hazy about
what happened in the show?
His details seemed vague enough that it could encompass Frankenstein
Jr.
If we don't talk about the good cartoons, from the sixties, thens
who will know that they existed?

"There have those who believed that life here, began out there... far
across the universe... with pride through the ages of humans... who may
be the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans...
Some believe that there yet be brothers of man... who, even now, fight
to survive, somewhere among the heavens..."
