Someone, anyone, at NBC, please, put Teachers out of its misery! Man,
talk about painfully bad. It's official: NBC is totally devoid of any

In that highly unlikely event FOX would have two shows making $2.5
billion a year. They wouldn't cancel one of them.

Sure...but you are just drawing a bigger circle for the same idea: Simpsons
will remain on the air until FOX has something better.
In reality, it seems likely at this point that the creators/cast of the
Simpsons will decide when it ends, not FOX...just like with what went on
with Seinfeld.

It seemed like a decent enough sitcom to me. Some of the story was
predictable, but the jokes were fairly funny throughout.
I honestly can't understand how you manage to hate nearly everything.
Have you considered selling your TV set?

Teachers had a few funny jokes and a good cast -- Sarah Alexander and
Kali Rocha were hilarious on Coupling (British version) and Buffy: The
Vampire Slayer respectively. Only time will tell if it can become
consistently funny but it's not too bad right now.

But was Phil Hendrie funny in it?

No, Phil didn't do impersonations of phone callers.
I was hoping he would, but was disappointed.
The show did a good job of introducing the various
characters. One needs to watch a show a few times
before dismissing it. There are enough characters that
plots can be tailored for the various characters. Once viewers
can predict character reactions to situations, the show will
be a hit.
I'll give it about 4 to 6 episodes to get me watching regularly.
I gave up on Arrested Development after 4 episodes.
Teachers doesn't use handheld cameras or have closeups
go out of focus.
I did notice the final commercials started at 25 minutes from
the start of the show.
