EW Scripps has announced that the Shop At Home TV channel will be
discontinued. In addition, the website will be unplugged.

I'm sure DirecTV will find yet another fly by night shopping service (or
another all informercial channel) to take over the channel spot, instead of
giving us channels we have been asking for.

If those "channels we have been asking for" paid DirecTV for carriage
as the shopping channels do, you could be watching them.

BTW, which channels have you been asking for? DirecTV has more
channels that interest me than I have time to watch.

I personally would like to see AmericanLife TV added, because it is the best
alternative to TV Land (at least in primetime), in seeing shows that haven't
been played for the umpteenth time.

I know others would like to see the Anime Network, but all we get all more
infomercial only channels (for which they criticized and threatned to drop
"i" over) or this pablum called the Baby Channel.
