Rose Bowl parade on HGTV

Overall pretty good.

Best part was the Star Wars storm troopers marching down the street,
rather unusual but fun.

Interesting note on that: George Lucas did the coin toss for the Rose
Bowel game.

Anyway, that's one of the duties of the Grand Marshal of the Tournament
of Roses. Tossing the coin and riding in the parade.

Actually, I was a little surprised that the stormtroopers and SW floats
were nowhere near Lucas in the parade lineup.

Any ideas on why they didn't have them SW stuff right before Lucas? I
thought we'd see them together.

Annoying part: HGTV promoting a couple of their new shows with
interviews in a box to the
lower left of the screen, one guy just kept jabbering and jabbering and
I'm yelling "shut up",
I want to hear the band playing and what the announcers have to say
about the floats. They
needed to cut him off earlier but they didn't.

It's just the Rose Parade. The Rose Bowl is a football game. It's all
part of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.

I read the subject line very carefully. That's what I was replying
to. It is you who isn't being very careful or paying attention.
It's not the Rose BOWL parade. It's the Rose Parade, and the Rose
Bowl. Separate events, named differently, presented by the Pasadena
Tournament of Roses.
