Brothers & Sisters Premiere (Spoilers)

I honestly do not know what I thought of this episode. The ending was

I liked it. Not great, but reviews indicate the show was greatly
retooled after being picked up by ABC (Sally Field replaced Betty
Buckley, etc.) so I think there is a fair chance it will improve.

The premise did seem a lot like "Providence" with a larger cast,
though.

Loved B&S. Hated Providence. Hope they are NOTHING alike,
sap-factor-wise.

I liked Providence somewhat.

certainly a melodramatic "shocker" that I could have done without.
Same goes for the troubled family business plot. But the interaction
between the mother and Kitty (Calista Flockhart's character; was
everyone calling her Kid?) was surprisingly well-acted and Flockhart
surprised me .

Anyone care to bet how much of Desperate Housewive's lead-in the show
will hold? Up against football on NBC and Without a Trace on CBS could
make 10:00PM on Sundays a tough timeslot.

I didn't like it much. Extremely predictable. Thought it was a tad dull.
Very talky and too "pretty" (so many pretty people, male and female). Plus a
lot of the male actors have the same "look."
