The fact that the news is out there will only lead to less considerate
posters blabbing about who's going where without giving any warnings.
For stuff like this the information super highway needs to be shut
down.

Captain Infinity...
Or you could, you know, put the mouse down and go read a book.

Just an idea.

GarondoMarondo...
I will happily talk to you about the books I'm reading but I doubt the
two of us are going to the same sections of Barnes & Noble.

BTR1701...
Yes, let's shut down the internet so your TV watching won't be affected.

GarondoMarondo...
I said "for stuff like this" I meant to say, perhaps not as clearly as
I would have liked, this kind of information should be kept from the
public to avoid spoilers.

Overreact much?

GarondoMarondo...
No.

It's 5 hours each way...make it 7 hours to count getting to the airport
and clearing security, longer if you fly economy but I doubt these guys
do. Not something you'd want to do every day or even every week, but
it's doable.

ANIM8Rfsk...
Yeah. An occasional guest spot is one thing. As a regular double duty gig,
it's not going to work.

But a guest spot is exactly what this CBS gig for Cynthia Watros is all
about. She hasn't been signed as a regular.

'Ex-Life' role not to be 'Lost' as Watros gig
By Nellie Andreeva

"Lost" co-star Cynthia Watros has been tapped to star opposite Tom
Cavanagh in CBS' comedy pilot "My Ex-Life."

The project, from 20th Century Fox TV, centers on two best friends
(Cavanagh, Watros) who happen to be a divorced couple sharing custody.

Watros replaces Gillian Vigman, who originally was cast in the pilot.

Watros is doing "My Ex-Life" as a guest star because of her commitment
to ABC's hit drama "Lost," on which she is a regular.

However, the guest-starring turn in the CBS pilot is sure to raise
speculation about the future of Watros' character on "Lost," Libby.

Steven L....
It shouldn't. On Lost, all actors know they could be let go, so they do
what any employee at risk of downsizing does: Keep their resumes
current, and constantly explore other job opportunities. Evangeline

zaryzary2003...
Not only that, but only a few of the actors appear on most episodes.
"Lost" can go weeks without an episode featuring Watros. I bet if she
wanted she could do the new show and then go to Hawaii once a month or
so to film her "Lost" scenes.

Lilly said she auditioned for another production (a romantic comedy)
recently too. In Cynthia Watros' case, CBS understands that Lost has

I had never heard of Evangeline Lilly before "Lost," and according to
imdb.com she only had very small roles before. I'll be interested to
see if she gets other roles after "Lost."

first claim on her, and so she could only work for CBS on a sustained
basis if Lost let her go.

Ar Q...
But producers hate that, especially "Lost" producers. The best thing for
them to do now is to tell Cynthia that she will be back, then cut her loose
after one episode. This will teach other actors and actresses on "Lost" a
lesson.

David...
Since "Lost" has finished filming for the season already or at least
working on the final episodes she should know for sure by now whether
she's coming back next year.

sdlitvin...
Actors on "Lost" never seem to know more than one half-season ahead.
Cynthia Watros may know she's safe for the first few episodes of
Season 3--but not for the spring 2007 episodes.

Barry Margolin...
But she still might not know how longer she'll last into the season.

Watros, whose series credits also include Fox's "Titus" and ABC's "The
Drew Carey Show," is repped by Innovative Artists and Principal
Entertainment.

David B...
I'm not surprised since they hardly ever use her.
