ABC "amost certain" to pick up "Scrubs"?

I just hope Bill Lawrence isn't a Sorkin/Hurwitz-type sissy with a

That would be no surprise since ABC desperately needs some quality
comedies and none of their current ones are performing well and the
quality is seriously lacking. Still, I would be shocked to see NBC let
it go since it would fit perfectly and probably do quite well on
Thursday nights where they have two holes to fill at the 8-9 hour.

insulting ER)

Sadly, NBC won't axe it. As much as a lingering sub-mediocre success as
it's been, they NEED it. If they were strong and cut it loose, it'd just
be ABC canceling a 'Less Than Perfect' for another 'Less Than Perfect'.

If "Scrubs"s contract is up ABC can steal it away even if NBC wants to
keep it.
