Richard Ellis...
We just finished watching the MI5 'marathon', presented by A&E. That's a
fine series. Good acting and excellent scripts.

Is A&E running this series or did it simply present the marathon? Was
these Season Three?

Helen Rose...
Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are available on Region 1 (US & Canada) DVD, with
Season 4 (the one that just aired on A&E) set for release in January.

I love Spooks. The version aired by A&E is hacked beyond belief, but
it's all I've got (short of binaries!) until the DVD is released.

If you've got a Region Free, PAL2NTSC dvd player (and why wouldn't
you?) then you can get SPOOKS S1-3 for ~$20 each and S4 for ~$40, iirc.
Much cheaper than the US versions.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but that was Season 3 and A&E were showing
them to burn them off. S4 is unlikely to be on that channel

Roger Thaat...
This is an amazing show. We've loved it since the days of Tom, Danny and
Zoe. We're in Canada, where the original (Spooks) runs on BBC Canada,
but it's a couple of years behind. We've been watching the truncated
versions on A&E.

Can anyone tell me if there is another new season, post Adam shootout,
coming, anywhere?

jayembee...
That was actually Season 4. Confusion comes in because A&E aired
the first two British seasons as a single season over here.

According to epguides, that was S4 that was burned off. Season 5 is the
current season that is unlikely to show up on A&E.
This was Season 4, and we have every reason to believe it's the
last time we'll ever see "MI-5" on A&E. They ran the first few
episodes on Fridays starting several weeks ago, then burned off
the remainder of S4 last Saturday. I believe that our only hope
now for seeing S5 lies with BBC America.

You can get the whole series on tvtorrents.com - it's listed under the
original British name of the series - Spooks.
