Brilliant, just brilliant...

I thought I read somewhere that Ed Helms was only signed for a few
episodes, but it'd sure be great if he stayed around and the
competition between Andy and Dwight continued to escalate. And how
great was it to see the two /Daily Show/ veterans Ed and Steve
Carell together again?!

Suprisingly, Dwight didn't seem all that upset about Jim being named
number two. At least not yet.

Also, where was Oscar? They gave his seat to Andy...

Hmmm, yeah, I didn't see Oscar. I don't know where they were getting
that many empty desks in the office, it wasn't like there was a lot of
extra space before.

Oscar was given a 3-month paid vacation by Jan in exchange for agreeing
not to sue after Michael outed him to the entire office. Last we heard
he said he and his partner were about to head out traveling.

He does. Oscar Nunez is working on a comedy called "Halfway
Home" for Comedy Central.

So he's definitely not coming back to "The Office"? The show's too
smart to just never mention him again; maybe they'll have his long
vacation lead to some better job. Still doesn't explain why they've
already given his desk to Andy, though...
