Remember Crime and Punishment? With Rachel Ticotin as the hot cop? And she
had a kid. And now she's Ana Lucia's mother on LOST. And a boss cop. I'm
thinking we just tied LOST into the L&O universe! :-)

I don't think so. With TBJ and Conviction both going out after 13
episodes apiece in consecutive years, it's clear that the viewing
public will only tolerate three L&O shows at a time.
Which should encourage Les Moonves to put the kibosh on any plans to
expand his network's procedural empire to CSI: Topeka.
