What drama shows have been spun-off from sitcoms? The only 2 I can
think of are LoueGrant coming from Mary Tyler Moore and Trapper John MD
coming from M.A.S.H. although in the case of Trapper John MD it really
doesn't count as Trapper John MD is really a spin-off of the MOVIE MASH
rather then the series. What sitcoms have come from dramas? Possibly

There aren't too many of those, either. There was a show called
"Tattingers" in 1988-89 which started out as a drama, then was pulled
from the schedule, reworked into a comedy and aired under the new name
"Nick & Hillary" later the same season. You can call that either a
spinoff or a change of title, but it should count.
Some might consider "Ally," the re-edited version of "Ally McBeal," to
be a comedy spun off from a drama, but generally more people consider
the original series "Ally McBeal" to be a comedy anyway.
