Seeing series regulars appear in ads for Fall shows before their own
show has finished airing the final episode. It takes me out of the
story. Although, Victor Garber, did smarmy so well in that ad!

Garber's a very good actor but he was way too hammy in that promo. Tone it
down, dude.

It's not as if ABC could do anything about it since Garber's new show
will be airing on another network. And if Garber's hair in that new
show is any indication, that show will be airing for, oooohhhhh, about
a week before it gets cancelled.
