From lostin13: Is Natasha Henstridge joining the cast of Lost?
Well, according to Natasha, she is. "I have a deal with ABC and will
be working on the next season of Lost," she told a Metro reporter.
"Filming starts in September and they are creating a character
especially for me." No one's willing yet to give an official comment

Good gawd! Don't they have enough on their plate without adding yet
ANOTHER character? Who's next, the Harlem Globetrotters?

It sounds like she has a long term contract with the network (rather
than a contract to "Commander in Chief" which she was on) so they need
to get her on a show in order to offset their expenses. So they pull
in the Lost people, tell them they have to put her on the show and
thus need to create a character for her, it doesn't matter what just
do it.

It means you get 2 flashback episodes Natasha.

(from what I understand, no deal has yet been fully closed), but my
sources tell me Natasha does, indeed, have a deal with Touchstone/ABC,
so it would make sense if Lost is where they're going to fulfill her.
Hang on! The Bat phone is ringing. Talk amongst yourselves!

That'll make two actresses from Northern Alberta in tv's biggest
tropical series.
And both hometowns are forts!
Big prizes for those who provide the full names of the towns....extra
bonus points for describing the most famous landmark in the area.

At least Natasha did a fair amount of her bad acting sans clothing.

But TV doesn't offer the same opportunities in that regard.

Ol' Kate doesn't have as much "upstairs" anyway, if you catch my
drift... ;p

I'm just enjoying the ride.
Isn't all TV ultimately pointless?

"Species" comes to "Lost"?
Or maybe Donald Sutherland had second thoughts about taking her
back as his assistant in "Commander in Chief", and she's been exiled
to Lost Island.
