of the show, heading toward the motel? Maybe she will find the
key at the beginning of the putative series.

That's a possibility. Obviously, Ruber and whatever portion of the
Order that decides to follow "The Prophet" will be doing something or
the other. I said elsewhere that I wouldn't think Julianna would want
to get into a series again. I suspect they'd have Joe and Jennifer and
maybe the kid go on the run. Then they could show up for an occasional
guest shot.

character? I'd like to find out more about the new Occupant and what he can

I'd think they could, and possibly should, focus on the other
players and make Joe much-talked-about and much-sought-after by a
lot of them, but rarely if ever actually seen. That is, I'd like to
know what (if any) powers or weirdness have attached themselves to
him too, but it might be better storytelling to show us the actions
of the characters who are trying to find that out, rather than just
showing or telling us.
