You know, I really wanted to like this show. Taye Diggs
is pretty good in it, probably the best black actor in an action series I've ever seen, and there haven't been that many. Quite a few other people in this show are pretty good in it, too. And it looks pretty slick and moves fairly Steven L....
brisk. But the problem with it is that already it's just way too repetitive. With the kind of premise it has, I don't know how they can avoid being so repetitive, which also makes the show a bit of a confusing watch. If you miss one episode, or even a single segment, of this series and you're totally lost as to what's going on. It beats me how the writers are even going to keep track of what's going on. I also think it was a bad move on ABC's part to schedule the first two episodes back to back, because that was just repetitiveness overkill and I wouldn't be surprised if viewers began dropping off by the tens of thousands every commercial break. I even drifted in and out of the show. It's too bad, though, because there are things about this show I know I'd like, if it just wasn't about what it's about. Grade: 4 out of 10, largely on the strength of Diggs and what there is in the show that makes it look like what it potentially could've been, if that makes any sense. HughJass...
