I like _Psych_. (Sounds like a presidential campaign.) I usually

patty1...
Yeah, it was cute. I'll give it a try some more.

don't like comedy that involves people risking or doing embarrassing
things, but the guy was clever enough that I could often be wowed by
his audacity and his cleverness.

Anthony D. Langford...
It's a cute show (the lead is pretty cute too, though I wish he'd tone
down on the smarm) and a perfect companion to Monk (which seems to
becoming less and less a mystery show every week). I can even tolerate
Dule Hill, who I *hated* on the West Wing. I'll definately be watching
regularly.

Anthony (and next week the Stargates are back)

Irulan...
I hated it. Hated the actor and hated the character. Annoyed the heck outa
me. Not that MONK is getting any better either.

Bill Steele...
I enjoy any show in the Holmesian tradition, where a detective uses
observation and deduction to figure out stuff others are too dense to
see.

My only nitpick is that this guy doesn't work the way real fake psychics
do, by throwing out a lot of general stuff that makes people respond and
then convincing them that you divined what they just told you.

tmcd...
So he's not a real fake psychic, but a fake fake psychic.
Someone who's observant can catch him.

He did do a "cold reading" at one point ("I see the letter 'L'"),
but it was with the receptionist at the police station, who he already
knew was susceptible.

Anthony Cerrato...
Didn't know if I could stand watching it since I just
despise so-called psychics (John Edwards was on the
Regis-Kelly show recently. Now I love Regis but I just
couldn't watch the segment!)

Mark Nobles...
I presume you mean John Edward, the biggest douche in the universe, not
John Edwards, the former candidate for Vice President, who is just the
biggest douche in North Carolina.

but I did watch Psych and liked it a lot--I just hafta
applaud the very clever re-imagining of this old clichéd
genre. Good casting too. I'll stick with it.
