I notice that the MI-5 portion of A&E's site has disappeared.
Not a good sign. Guess I may have to order Series 4 from England.
How come I'm not finding a store on BBC's website? Do they really
not even sell DVDs of their own shows?

Milhouse Van Houten...
It's supposed to air on A&E in the 3rd quarter, so I wouldn't worry about
the Web site much now.

Oh, thanks! Do you recall where you saw that information? There were
no official postings from A&E in their "MI-5" discussion forums, either.

Milhouse Van Houten...
Yes, the TV critic at TVG enquired about it recently and related the
information in his "Ask Matt" online column this past Monday.

Ken Rudolph...
So, their release pattern is consistent with previous years: SPOOKS
season #4 will be released on DVD in the U.K. on September 4, 2006.
According to this site, this is just before season #5 is scheduled
to start broadcasting on the beeb (first confirmation I've heard
that there is going to be a season #5) Apparently neither
sendit.com nor amazon.co.uk is accepting pre-orders for #4 as of
yet; but bbcshop.com is. Interesting, thanks for the info.

Ken Rudolph...
Maybe you're not using the British name for the series: "Spooks".
The series 4 DVDs are not out, and from past experience the British
DVDs are usually released in September, so I wouldn't expect to see
anything new until then.

But, considering how A&E edits 15 minutes out of every episode,
you're probably better off getting the DVDs. If you can handle
Region 2 disks, you won't get a better deal than at Amazon U.K.

I've also bought British tv series at sendit.com; but for "Spooks"
#2 & 3 their prices currently are significantly higher than
amazon's. However, when Series 4 is announced, I'd check both sites
as sendit often beats amazon on price for new releases.
