Loved the humor throughout in this episode
(I like Richard Kind anyway, it was neat to
see him playing it a little bit evil)
especially the last minute ending, too funny! :-)

I really liked the Stargate/Atlantis episode too,
very funny AND cool to see both teams working together.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing a combo show if the
writing stays this good from now on. I really love
the interaction and history between the two shows!
And I love that Daniel finally gets to Atlantis!

Michael Bowker...

I liked Kind on the New York Mayor show (Spin City?), but this was
horrible. It gave me the creeps watching everyone fawning over Lucian.
But that means it was wellacted, may have been uncomfortable,
disturbing, and badly written; but it was well acted. But the planet
they left Lucian on has a new sport (can you say wack-a-mole with lucian).

2.0 just because I had a few laughs. Otherwise it was so lame. I hate
these types of stories about weasley con men with magic potions that
make everyone act like goofs. And of course one guy is immune and his
last remaining friend who isn't under the influence succumbs and he has
to pull some trick to defeat the bad guy. And of course no one can
figure the guy has some potion until it's way too late and everyone is
affected. Lame-o.

I did not mind the re-telling, as I rather like Richard Kind.
I thought he might have even been the same character he portrayed in Spin
City, somehow got to that planet via a worm hole a la Farscape.

A little lower this week, it got a solid 3.5

It was kind of a silly episode, I really hate the whole "fanboy
fantasy" episodes designed to make freaks with no friends say "hey, I
wish that would happen to me!"

Come on, let's get back to something serious.

YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize that this episode suffers in comarison to the SG1 that
immediately preceeded it, but it was still BAD. I had a really hard
time sitting thru it. I was on the verge of hitting the FF ( I TIVO
it) as soon as the con man came thru the gate. I have seen all of the
SG1 episodes and all but one of the SGA episodes and this is by far the
worst episode of any that has been shown so far in either series!

The ending was even worse. They're relying on the promise of a con
man to not sell them out!!!!

I am a SGA fan in a big way. I am desperately searching for some logical
argument I can make to counter your view.

If I can come up with something in the future, I will let you know.

And yeah, that was an impressive SG-1.

No, they're relying on the people in town - all of whom hated his guts
before the Roherbnol and hate them even more now - to keep him quiet and
away from the gate. Since they all know the Atlantis team have done them a
huge favour *and* they know that Lucius can only get his Roherbnol offworld,
I think that won't be an issue.
