Marc Berman says "Cold Squad" and "Stone Undercover" will air in
syndication next Fall.

Yep, Program Partners is marketing them as a two-hour block called
"Crimewatch." There's a trailer here:
BTW, probably no one here will know what "Stone Undercover" is,
since it's never existed under that name before. It's the Alberta
Filmworks series "Tom Stone," starring Chris William Martin and
Janet Kidder (and with frequent appearances by Stuart Margolin).

Margolin really turned me off that series. Didn't like him on
Rockford either.
|
It was on CBC for two seasons.
(Which brings up the question of how it can be combined with "Cold
Squad"; the latter has many more episodes available. I figure the
26 eps of TS/SU will repeat 3-4 times for each runthrough of CS,
if all seven seasons of CS are included in the package.)

I bet they just sell two seasons of CS and if it manages to do OK
they'll let it run on it's own.

Well, U.S.-made syndication hasn't been healthy since the pre-birth of
the "Netlets" WB and UPN. It comes to no surprise to me.
