WOW!! This is one of those shows I never watched when it was on
broadcast TV so armed with
my Netflix account I started last Sunday Season 1, Episode 1 and let me
tell you, I am
absolutely hooked on this show. I've already watched 7 episodes. In
fact I intended to watch just one a day but with every episode ending
on some type of dramatic cliffhanger I find myself heading straight for
the next one. Disc 3 just arrived today but between college football
and going to a party tonite I wont be able to start until tomorrow.
LOL, maybe I can squueze one in when I get home from the party, depends
how buzzed I am.

Nearly the same here. Didn't watch it when it was on TV (except for the
last 2-3 episodes of the series, which *badly* spoiled some of the
surprises in season one for me) and am watching it on DVD (although I'm
renting mine for $1.99 each from the local video store at the rate of
about one per three weeks).

I have heard, however, that around the middle of season two it becomes
obvious that the writers no longer have a plan.

EGK...
Yup. I hope you enjoy the whole thing all the way through but for many of
us who watched them as they aired, it became a horrible downward spiral af
about that point.

Since JJ Abrams created both Alias and Lost, Alias is probably the single
biggest reason i'm cynical about the latter show ending in a satisfying
manner.

I'm watching for the first time also but man it's a struggle to get through
the beginning of season 4.

Real buzzed!! :O) I did try to watch Fridays Battlestar and got
through maybe
10 minutes before passing out BUT.....there was an "Alias" connection
on
"Battlestar" with Carl Lumbly as this weeks guest star.

neon_06...
You watch Battlestar to?? I'm on season 2.5 now... looking forward to
the rest. Also compelling TV, what other shows do you like?

Last March I revisited Babylon 5 and didnt finish the 5 seasons and
related movies until August. That was a blast. Watched it on
everything from a portable DVD player on a cross-country flight NY to
LA to my 52" TV in my den. Wonder how long "Alias" will take?
