Loved Curb, need something else

I watched all of the curb your ethusisim DVDs. Loved the show,
probably watched some episodes several times.

I can't find anything in movie or on TV that is similar or that
enjoyable. Anybody who like Curb like anything else? I liked Weeds
but it still seems new and the episodes take forever to get anywhere.

So, for now I guess my TV is off. And I have already seen the movies I
want to see.

"It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" is stylistically the closest comedy
to "Curb." It's not as funny but still pretty good. And if you like
"Family Guy" and "South Park" you'd probably like "Drawn Together."

Milhouse Van Houten...

"The Comeback" is stylistically similar too, and quite underrated. Perhaps
"Extras." I think there are others too, but they're not coming to me just
now.

Oh yeah, forgot "Extras." That's a good choice. I didn't find "The
Comeback" funny, which just made it uncomfortable to watch. And I
thought they missed the point of what makes "The Office" work by
making the character too likeable.

If you want comedy, are you watching The Office (US version)
and My Name is Earl? Extremely funny! If you haven't been
watching Rome and The Sopranos you are very, very
foolish--they are arguably the best dramas ever made for
TV--well, at least Sopranos is--Rome will be ending after
this (it's 2nd) season.
