Is ABC airing the original Ten Commandments this year?

I see they're airing their new version of the movie this week (with
DOUGRAY SCOTT - ooooooh!) but what about the original. It usually airs
on a Sunday........but tonight's there's nothing and I don't know about
next Sunday...

Yep, they'll be airing the 1956 version next Sunday! Probably starting

But that's the 1956 version. Sean was asking about the original, which
is from 1923. :-)

Not according to Yahoo TV. They have their regular line-up scheduled for
April 16. There it is. It's on Saturday, April 15 at 8pm Eastern.

Of course, one might also wish to consider ABC's own schedule information:

The schedule at the bottom of that page says Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Oops, sorry, thanks for the catch, everyone!! Could have sworn I saw it
scheduled on Sunday, but oh, well!

The only other thought I have is: Who's going to be able to watch the
whole thing with Easter services the next day, some of them early? Even
if starts at 7:00 it won't wind up til at least 11:00-11:30...

It's cheesy and overblown, but I love it! Saw the Golden Calf model at
an exhibition of Hollywood costumes and props several years ago-it's a
lot smaller than it looks on screen, and there wasn't any 'gold' on the
body. It was just painted to look like it was made of bare wooden
planks, presumably so the actors could pretend to hammer gold sheets
over it. It was pretty cool, though!
