Apple Broadcasting Company

With Steve Jobs now the majority shareholder of ABC, is it possible
that soon that network may be rechristened Apple Broadcasting Company,
complete with an apple logo and the slogan: "Take a bite of the Apple"?

Apple didn't buy Disney, Pixar did -- with Disney's money. Seriously, I
don't think Jobs has any interest in running an entertainment
conglomerate, which is what Disney is.

But Steve Jobs now controls 7 percent of Disney's stock, the largest
single owner block. So he might just want to have some control on what
Disney does in the future and being the CEO might just fill his needs.

First, CW, now maybe ABC, I wonder what network rebranding could be
next?

No idea, but I'll bet this deal means more ABC shows will be available
on iTunes.
