weberm...
They haven't said what in the ads yet, but it looks like M*A*S*H* to me.
*yawn*

Uniblab...
Yep - it is M*A*S*H.

How about adding a show that ISN'T in heavy syndication?

Orson Wells as Citizen_Cain...
You mean like Highway to Heaven?

quincywagstaff...
The Pro Bowlers Tour??

Boffman...
I think it must be M*A*S*H. (aka The Alen A*'l*d*a show) The most
highly overrated series in television history.

mc...
lol My husband and I went through a "Renegade" stage...basically
because you couldn't avoid it!

hobbyfan...
M*A*S*H was run into the ground when it aired on FX a while back.
Hallmark picked it up, and that's on the digital tier in my area, so I
don't know the schedule pattern there. TV Land will make sure to pick
up where FX left off and overplay every episode. As in, a 48 hour
marathon every month.

Jude Cormier...
Hallmark airs 4 episodes every day in a block. Because of the deal with TV
Land, Hallmark must air M*A*S*H in the daypart, while TV Land gets primetime
rights.

Today, FX is doing the same thing with King of the Hill & That 70's
Show. Relentless overplaying of eps while both are also in general
syndication. Because of FX, the local Fox affil doesn't run King until
11:30 pm weeknights, as a lead-in to South Park.

Tony Calguire...
Adult Swim is doing that with Futurama right now... I think they're
deliberately over-exposing it so that when it makes the jump to Comedy
Central after the first of the year, everyone will be tired of it. I know

Hunter Rose...
At least it's let me record almost every episode...

I am.

Uniblab...
That would be great, but I can't fault them for adding M*A*S*H - it always
performs extremely well for the stations which carry it.

TV Land is no longer a niche channel, and it likely won't pick up shows that
aren't in heavy syndication - the very fact that those shows aren't in
syndication likely means they won't be ratings draws for TV Land.

We need a TCM-like channel that is devoted to TV shows.

Jude Cormier...
Been saying that for a quite awhile, but no one seems to give a rat's ass.
