"Showbiz Tonight" EVERY night?!?!?!

"Showbiz Tonight" has gone into overkill mode.

Yes, TV's most provocative entertainment news show (I liked it better
when they called themselves "TV's only hour-long (or live, when they
used to be) entertainment news show") will now be on SEVEN NIGHTS A WEEK
at 11:00pm starting this Saturday.

I guess the reason why the expansion to weekends is that in case any
news breaks like another celebrity couple kaput (is anyone keeping watch
on Sarah Michelle Gellar/Freddie Prinze Jr.?), we don't want to wait

till the other shows on Monday to report on it.

This reminds me of when KTVF here in Fairbanks tried to expand their
6:00 newscast to seven nights a week when they added a Sunday edition in
late 1999, but it was a flop and they went back to Monday-Saturday after
only a few months.

It seems to me that CNN Headline News is trying to abuse "Showbiz
Tonight" even further; first by being a taped show and now being on
every night of the week.
