I can think of some movies that were better but those cost $8 a ticket
and $4 to rent. And no I'm not goint to let the fact that I can
identify the exact model of knife Leoban was using or poor scene
spam...

How about the reference to Mars Day, and Mars the God of War.

choices bother me.
The best lines had to be Cally's. Tigh had some good ones too but for
a different reason.

4.5 - I was pleasantly surprised at how plausible the storylines were.
I was particularly pleasantly surprised at the internal debate of
the Cylons. Obviously, the Cylons don't have "a" plan, but rather
have different ideas of what their goals are.
I was satisfied at just how much the Cylons had to restrict
themselves in order to make even the existence of a
resistance movement plausible. The way the resistance
on Caprica managed to survive was rather implausible,
and the way they just barely managed to hold out until
the rescue mission was stupendously convenient timing.
Here on New Caprica, the Cylons are holding back from
all out genocidal war. They go out of their way to not
kill anybody, and this allows the thinkability of a resistance.

It's a different show now. For now, 2 hours like that can cause a
viewer to forgive a lot.
Hopefully, that feeling will last.

The jump with Galactica 1980 permanently scarred me.
Anyway, I wasn't overly impressed with the season premiere. 3.
