Most engrossing, most suspenseful episode to date.

Only gripe: When Miles surfs the Internet in his room, it's surprising
he didn't encounter any of the news stories about the creatures from
MSNBC's website. I guess being a kid, he doesn't pay attention to the news.

4 stars for me.

Another good episode, I actually enjoyed watching the Rich and Laura
show ("I need to contact my kid", "No you don't, we've been over this,
it's dangerous!"). I was glad to see Mile's new girlfriend (well,
sorta) come back, but I don't know if she's gonna came back next time.
And the developments with Miles are pretty interesting, too.

Laura's ex-husband seems like a dick again, though he was a good boy
for bringing the tissue samples.

I actually liked the ruse with the bedsheets over the railing...
probabl one of the smarter things Rich and Laura have done so far.

4.5 stars. Excellent as usual.

In general, the series is well constructed and every episode is a story well
told. There couldn't be a better Sci Fi series on network TV. The truth is
that, you can't have a big-budget-everything-blown-up-on-your-face every
week. But most viewers have only appetite for such things because every Sci
Fi movie on big screen is that. I am sorry to see the series ends because it
can't attract more viewers. But I appreciate the efforts by the group of
people who put Surface together. The acting, camera, writing, directing and
everything else are all superior.

4.0. The scene where Miles and Caitlin kissed was painful. Dullest kiss
I've seen on tv in 5 years at least.

Ooooh, admit it. You're just jealous because he got to kiss Caitlin and
you didn't. Although Carter Jenkins could have shown a bit more
enthusiasm in the kissing scene. C'mon, kid! When I was your age, I
would have given my eye-teeth to kiss a girl like Linsey. And you got
how many takes to get it right? Plus rehearsals.

Yes! Miles is becoming the king of the sea monsters, able to get them
to do his every whim, like eliminating his rivals.

Boo for Daughtery. Can she really be as dumb as she acted here?

So Nim purrs, eh? As if he wasn't already catlike enough, right down to
the belly-low crawl toward Miles. I guess they either started with cats
or used an awful lot of Felis catus DNA to build the creatures.
