and its recent string of successes by calling it the "chick" network.

Maybe NBC and CBS should concentrate on their programming a little more

Sean Walsh...
Or the fact that they're basically admitting chicks are kicking their
low-rated asses?

Rob Jensen...
I'll take good (Ugly) "chick" (Betty) shows that generally aren't
(Grey's) "chick" (Anatomy) shows anyway over a gazillion CSI and Law &
Order clones anyday.

Steven L....
Not with shows like "The Nine" and "Six Degrees," they're not.

CBS is holding its own; they're splitting the Top 20 with ABC. And NBC
is this season's "most improved" network, with viewership up some 15%
over last year.

Quietly, without much fanfare or critical acclaim, shows like "Heroes"
and "1 vs. 100" are helping to elevate NBC's fortunes. While the
troubles of "Studio 60" have made headlines, somehow the news media
failed to notice that "Deal or No Deal" has *increased* viewership and
it ratings have now hit a season high.

TedJMill...
They're doing pretty well as far as I'm concerned. NBC and CBS
each have several shows that I watch, both new and returning, while
ABC has none (one if I like Daybreak next month).
