"Umney's Last Case" was one of my least favorite of his short stories as
well. For some reason it just doesn't have that King "vibe" to me.

I thought it was a better "tribute" to Chandler than last week's "tribute"
to Lovecraft. Maybe because noir can be flashier, more gimmicky, more
formulaic, but Macy almost overcame a so-so storyline on acting style and
performance alone.

P.S. All aired episodes are available on-demand to digital cable
subscribers.

Uh, spooky they weren't. Sad and depressing they were. Macy was great as
always. The whole tone of both episodes made me glad I didn't have a
rope and a bottle of Smirnoff.

Overall I will give an 80 to each of them. The shows are still very well
done; I just wish that, with as much source material is out there, they
would've picked different stories.

I forgot they were on the other night,ment to tape them when they aired
the following night but have a lot on my mind due to work and other
various things and forgot! Haven't popped up on demand yet. The first 2
are on there. When do they air again? Next week?
