She is the only cast member that has actual talent. Seth Meyers blows.
He should have been shown the door with Horatio Sanz.

That national anthem skit was the funniest thing on SNL since 2002.

GarondoMarondo...
Just because one performer appears in a bit doesn't mean they wrote it,
anyone could have written it.

David Johnston...
As I understand it though, the performers do pitch sketch ideas
featuring them.

Barry Margolin...
Which seems natural. Most of them were previously standup and improv
comics, so they have a comedy writing background.

But of course, the "Head Writer" is just that. They aren't the only
writer, they write and supervise.

Milhouse Van Houten...
BTW, was there a particularly dubious rendition of the National Anthem
before Game 5 of the World Series, or was this sketch just a general
criticism?

muzicmakr...
I had the same question. If it wasn't particular to the World Series, it's
not as funny. Making fun of melisma is kinda old.

I liked the episode in general though. Maybe I was just in the right mood,
but I laughed. Can't say that every week. I think my overall impresion of
an episode depends on whether I like the host, and I liked Hugh Laurie.
Looking forward to Alec Baldwin coming up too.

PorchMonkey4Life...
it's an indictment of melissma.
