Nova was great last night!!

Mystery of the Megaflood. Signs were that a huge flood hit the state
of Washington
15,000 years ago but where did the water come from?

A huge lake was bottled up in the mountains of Montana by a glacier,
the lake held
about as much water as Lake Erie and Lake Ontario combined and when the
glacier
broke..... well it would have been an amazing sight to see.

Was this a repeat or did they just cover the same material from
another show (maybe on Discovery.) I know I've seen that same topic
discussed before on some show. It was neat when they showed how they
figured it out from the layers of sediment and the massive layer of
silt that had been deposited.

It's a repeat from last September, but I think there actually was another
show (possibly on Discovery) around the same time on the same topic.

I'm not sure it if was a repeat or not, probably the subject has also
been on the
Discovery channel as well. I thought it was fascinating and very
interesting.
