Canadian actors on "24"

I've noticed that every year Keifer Sutherland is bringing a few
Canadian actors on the series 24: Alberta Watson, Elisha

Bringing? Despite the occasional L.A. locations, I'm guessing a lot of
the series is shot in Canada, and Canadian content laws would require a
certain percentage of Canadian actors (Or British--go figure).

Just curious, what leads you to believe that the show is shot in Canada?
I've never seen or read anything to indicate that. On the contrary, I've
read plenty of accounts from people who have seen filming going on in
Southern California, folks who called the 24 phone number and talked to
people on the set in L.A., etc.

If it were shot in Canada, we'd be seeing the Usual Canadian Suspects
every week, not just one or two per season.

BTW, I thought of mentioning Geraint Wyn Davies in this thread because
I associate him with Canada, but he was born in Wales and, to the best
of my knowledge, has been living in California for quite a few years
now. I don't know whether he's a Canadian citizen or not.

Cuthbert, Lesly Hope, etc. Who will be in next year ? I vote
for Kenneth Welsh or his father ? What about you ?

Ooh... Kenneth Welsh, excellent choice! Although he was so
magnificently evil in "Due South", and in that creepy politician movie,
it may be hard to top.
