I enjoy a number of vocals from Acoustic and Lennon Anthology. It is
nice to hear his VOICE without the studio tricks.

John did not like his voice . . . he always asked for echo, double
tracking, etc.

However I like I am the Walrus . . . his voice is bluesy, scathing and
so Lennonish.

Lennon's vocals were really hot from 1963 through 1965. Most of his
recording during that period were top-notch. Having stated that, I'm
not sure why everyone loves Bad Boy. It isn't one of his stronger
efforts, IMHO. One cover that I always loved was
