SACD CD'S

if the beatle songs are going to be remastered is there any news that
they will be released on sacd cd's?

Already the sacd seems to be a thing of the past, so I don't think so.

What high resolution audio format is taking over instead? I think
sacd's sound preety great compared to old redbook audio cds.

Both Dualdisc and SACD are Sony-products. I don't know if the fact that
Sony seems to be the new owner of the Lennon/McCartney songbook plays
any part in this. There seems to be a new battle of the formats; BlueRay
or SACD...
I have SACD's and most of them don't sound really exciting; only music
that's recorded with multichannel sound in mind sounds good in this
format. This kinda rules out the Beatles catalog i.m.o.
