Also, all you have to do is watch the Shea Stadium concert. You have John
Lennon complaining about the adults in the audience.
|
November 22, 1964, the US was in a state of collective depression.
bessie...
Bewildered and in a state of shock, we looked for a ray of sunshine,
and to our surprise, found it, when the Beatles took the Ed Sullivan

that's like telling me I have to buy the Posner book.

Yes please read Posner's "Case Closed", Belin's "Final Disclosure",
and the dvd "JFK: Beyond the Magic Bullet".
If only one, watch the dvd. They prove scientifically that one bullet
caused all the wounds but the head shot. They show the supposedly
pristine bullet and go into how more lead wasn't in Connellys wrist
than came from the bullet. They go into much more than this too.
The evidence is there so go watch the dvd, "JFK: Beyond the Magic
Bullet" then come back and tell what is wrong with it.

I've seen enough of the ""evidence."" I know how they just ignore or BS over
the questions they cannot and will not answer.

stage Feb. 9, 1964 and had us all humming and singing along to sounds
as foreign to us as was the assasination months before. The boys were
largely responsible for bringing our country back from the gloom.
Without realizing it, "I Want To Hold Your Hand" helped us back onto
our feet...... and what a hand it was!

I heartily agree. I was 13 at the time.
I disagree with those who say that we kids quickly forgot about the JFK
and the assassination. In some ways, JFK _was_ a rock star that we
looked up to (unlike Eisenhower or LBJ for example).
BTW, CBS TV News had planned to air a piece on the evening news on
November 22, 1963 about a group called the Beatles that were becoming a
phenomena in the UK. The piece had to be postponed because of what
happened that afternoon.

No question about it, the times were depressing and the timing of the
Beatles provided a lot of hope at the time. BTW the year was 63.

I agree. There are others who don't.
I only saw it years after the fact. I was too young to remember while it
was happening.
