Hodgepodge of interview clips mostly centering around the writing:
Odd questions:
Do you have false teeth as they always look so even?
Is it true that when you were a kid you were shot at for stealing
apples?

Context helps a bit here. These were questions sent in by fans and read on
the air by Dusty Springfield, who was interviewing the Beatles during an
appearance on the UK pop show "Ready, Steady, Go!". I think this was early
1964, the exact date escapes me. I haven't seen this clip in some time.
These two queries were directed to John, who claimed (a) his teeth were all
chipped and battered and (b) yes, he'd been shot at for stealing apples (by
whom it's not mentioned).

That scene/extract and the rest of the youtube clip
hold of this stuff in somewhat better quality. Why the "marketing
geniuses" at Apple (and elsewhere) don't realise that there's a big
demand for this sort of stuff is beyond me.

Actually, the "Ready, Steady, Go" stuff isn't owned by Apple, it's owned by
Dave Clark of The Dave Clark Five fame.

I'm actually more than aware of that - hence the "(and elsewhere)"
qualification.
I've several times railed at extreme lengths here about the distasteful
mis-representation of RSG! (you missed off the all important exclamation
mark) that he has marketed - with DC5 sessions parachuted into the
middle of them.
RSG! was an incredibly exciting programme, and the way that he has sold
them as videos and then DVDs has been wicked.

I'd really rather like to watch it as a clear image on a good screen!
(Youtube is good, bless them, but hardly high fidelity.).
