LOVE Soundtrack will NOT be 5.1

Based on some stats, I am pretty confident we will NOT be seeing a 5.1
release.

I also did some research today. I searched all over the net and not ONE
of the 2 dozen or so articles I found on the "Love" album mentioned
anything about 5.1 or surround sound.

I'm very disappointed. Once again, Apple is behind the curve, putting
out an inferior product instead of doing things RIGHT. I don't know
what is wrong with them, they're just incompetent boobs, I guess.

I did some research- keep in mind that this isn't a Beatles only decision-
this is 50/50 Beatles and Cirque du Soleil decision.

What did I learn?

There is NO active Vegas Cirque show (and there are a lot currently playing)
that has a DVD release. All they have is a stereo CD release. For obvious
reasons- they don't want to compete with themselves and have people buy the
DVD and not see the show.
Also, there is NO Cirque release on a 5.1 audio cd also.

I think that we will not get a 5.1 release because Cirque/Beatles want to
keep the incentive high for people to buy tix to the show so they can hear
the surround sound.

Plus- it gives the Beatles something else to sell in a few years.

If it's not 5.1 I have no interest in it. The 5.1 aspect was about 90% of my
interest in it.
