Slip Kid...
Caution:
Stem-winding post ahead.

I nice copy of the D. Chicks (on David L.'s how) appeared on my drive.
(Those satt farms in VA grab everything. A neighbor has a cousin and the
cousin's baby-sitter had a car wreck with someone who works 'there' & to
shut her up, well...I think that was the trail from the farm to my HD).

I'm standing on my 'reminds me of Aimee, and don't know why'. But some
other tunes on the disc support that (no, don't know why).

I'm sure the release can be ripped up on substance, style & that's OK.
FIt is one of the better releases I've heard in '06.

I didn't expect it, can't claim to be a fan and don't listen to stations
that (don't anymore, anyway) did play 'em.
Yep, if not for the Lett show I'd not know enough to have checked it out.

A long-shot segue:
...I coulda tied this to the PR back and forth about aim is on & their
reviews? (I coulda)

Choke on this:
I think about the music I bought over the past 20 some years, I was most
pleased if/when the 'purchase' met one prior condition:
"If I saw (even a single tune) them live and 'liked that', I was not
only happier with the release but it tended to have staying power."
(Again, that's compared to any/all music I heard/bought without 'seeing'
them prior to purchase.)
It goes back more than 20 years & 2 - '64 meets the above condition.

So, it's babble unless anyone shares 'that'.
Yeah, I can reel off bunches of bands which sold me "only" when I saw
'em (first).

Occasionally.
Yeah, sometimes, (now and then, at times, or every so often, once in a
while, only intermittently) but mostly on & off.
