Not that I know of. However, I think Laboriel is a tremendous drummer
and an inspired choice for that role on Macca's part.

I agree - he's the best thing in Paul's current band. However his
guitarists are a bit 'ordinary' in my view. Both seem to be very
competent session musicians but neither seems to have a style of his
own compared to previous Macca sidemen such as Robbie McIntosh or Denny
Laine.

BTW, Abe Laboriel the drummer is the son of Abe Laboriel Sr., an
amazing bass player. I guess I would deem his style of music funk, but
he could probably play just about anything. Sometimes musical talent

Yes, he is primarily a funk player. I have a DVD that Abe Sr. put out
on the topic of funk bass playing. His slap-pop technique is unusual
and difficult for this white boy to do!
