Ringo was wearing an Oakland Raiders (football) hat in the anthology.

The Raiders moved back to Oakland in 1995. Ringo might have rooted for
the Los Angeles Raiders.

I should have said that I know for sure that he was - bigtime - when
they were in LA.
My cousin, was a corporate skybox regular and saw him on a number of
occasions when they were in LA in that part of the stadium
stratosphere.
I worked on the 84 Superbowl (Tampa), the only time the Raiders in
their LA days made it there. I saw him at the commissioner's bash.
I assume if he was wearing the hat in the anthology, he's still a fan.

While Ringo probably doesn't care whether the Raiders play in Los
Angeles or Oakland, their move to Oakland wasn't formally announced
until June 1995 (a few months after the Rams moved to St. Louis) and I
think the Anthology interviews were taped by then.
