Jim Roger Olsen...
I find "Beware of darkness" an amazingly beautiful song. It has a truly
great melody, and is one of my all-time favorites.

I wonder why he never put it out as a single.

Among the general public, this "hidden gem" has escaped many.
I discovered the song only after purchasing "All things must pass".
I almost couldn't believe it when I heard the song - this great tune -
and so unknown!

I wonder - has the tune been covered, and, if so, which ones are the best?

Concrete Blonde did it years ago.....

DC...
Don't forget Spock's Beard. It's even the title of one of their albums.

Leon Russell did a version I always liked. And at the time George's did get
a lot of airplay, to the extent I always assumed it had been a single
(although I know it wasn't).

Of course, Eric Clapton did it on the Tribute to George-performance in
the Royal Albert Hall, which has a great DVD.

As a Norwegian - I would have loved to hear Morten Harket from a-ha sing it.
