Jacob,
Check the security system on your computer. You may have the Winows
firewall settings and your virus program firewall setting on in a way which
may prevent video from being viewed. Check by searching your Help areas and
be sure not to turn off both firewalls.

If you are on dial up, you can't get the video.

Yeah, and you'll need lots of RAM.

First I am assuming you have a decently modern computer and a decently
modern operating system. To my knowledge it does not have to be top of
the line, but I assume you have something that is not very very old.
If you have an ancient computer or an ancient operating system, you may
have to upgrade. My operating system is pretty old.
I usually have no problem with youtube. However, there was a period of
time over the course of several days where I could get onto the
website, but couldn't use it. My memory is vague, but I think some
message came up that I did not have javascript (or something else) or
that it was not enabled. I can't recall exactly.
I sent youtube an e mail explaining my problem and a couple of days
later it cleared up. Now I use it fine. It could have been a
coincidence; however I believe they may have transmitted a program or
something that I needed.
I believe if you go to youtube, there is a way to e mail them. They
may be able to help you.

Maybe type in what you want to see on on the YouTube search bar?

Thanks for the reply. I do get into the site and have the stills from the
videos on the right of the screen, but I don't get anything in the main
video window. I'm certain there's something missing from my pc which would
enable the video, but I have no idea what. I haven't web-searchn it yet, though.

How fast is your connection? Are you using wi-fi?
If mine is down and have to get on with a slower connection, youtube
won't work for me. It won't even let me get to a second page. Sometimes
when I'm on the faster connection, but am in a place where it isn't
coming in well, I'll get the problem you're describing. If I move
around so that more bars are up and reload the page, it will usually
work.
