MikeLawyr2...
I just listened to a couple of takes of Thank You Girl. It is so
CLEVER! Close to 45 years on, the song is sweet, cute, but still
CLEVER. Then I listened to She Loves You again, a song so
breathtaking, a book could be writen about it, or at least a whole
chapter. Just the beat and timing of the strums of the rhythm guitar
is a lesson on where rock was being taken. It can bring tears to your
eyes listening to these gems. No other band could be parsed like this.

I will have to listen to THANK YOU GIRL... I haven't heard it in a while.

But I absolutely agree with you about SHE LOVES YOU. I caught a bit of that
'feeling' from Geoff Emerick's book... he says the atmosphere was joyous (my
word). You can HEAR that joy cascading out from the speakers every time you
play that song, and many MANY other songs from THE BEATLES...

TAR...
Someday, someone will discover that the Beatles sprinkled their music
with subliminal messages. :]

fishandchipp...
you trying to tell me something?

TAR...
Go to the window... Go to the WINDOW... Go to THE WINDOW...

Frank from Deeetroit...
Go to the Window, hey, thats a line from The Who's Tommy.

TAR...
Isn't that "go to the mirror"?? "Go to the window... Go to the
window..." is from the Beatles' movie, "Help".

fishandchipp...
go to sleep, GO to sleep, GO TO SLEEP

timagine...
This was the era when Beatle songs were created to herald the Beatles;
the songs themselves were like trumpets on the walls of a castle.
Triumphant creations with triumphant ambition. Very nicely done.

Very nicely said!
