Photo Inquiry

30 years ago, I recall seeing a photo purporting to show John Lennon,
Yoko Ono, and Muhammad Ali seated at a table at one of the formal
inaugeration parties for President Jimmy Carter on 1/20/77.

John was sporting a beard.

If John was sporting a beard, it was definitely NOT the Carter
inaugural. He was clean shaven in all the photos I've seen taken on
that occasion.

There's a photo in the book, Beatles Forever by Nickalous Shaffner of
John (clean Shaven and in Tuxedo) with Yoko. Ali is standing over John
seemingly geeting an autograph. It was at Jimmy Carter's Inaugeration.

Oh yes. I have a finnish fan magazine from 1964 and there=B4s a picture
of Cassius Clay (aka M. Ali) who keeps Ringo in his arms and the other
boys are laughing (Ringo too).
