"How I Won the War" with John Lennon is on cable in the NYC area right
now... on FLIX.

I saw that it was on last night, but we don't get that station with our
cable package.

I was wondering: when the movie came out, did people rush to the theaters in
droves because a Beatle was in it? Did it even make it to the big screen in
America?

The only thing that movie did was make the Military issue Granny glasses
fashionable. Not because people say lennon wearing them in the movie but
because he continued to wear them after the movie.

Good alternative to the sleeping pill.

I happen to be one of the very few proud owners of a rare, original laser
disc edition of this movie in superb picture and sound quality.

This movie did NOT receive a general release in the U.S.
