The founding father of Rock 'n Roll celebrated his 80th birthday this
week.

I saw Chuck Berry perform in the seventies when I was a teen. I was
amazed that someone that old could be so energetic on stage. Now that
I'm near the age he was at that time, it doesn't seem so old.

He was fantastic in concert.

Getting Old... it's kinda 'odd'...isn't it...!?!

Angielexis...
It is odd. I'm 49; yet, I don't feel or act like I'm that old. Lol!

What's interesting is I saw a Harrison concert in the seventies, and
then I saw a McCartney concert in 2002. The audience seemed a lot older
at the McCartney concert. :)

Chuck Berry's original songs, his unique guitar style, and his
performance antics defined Rock 'n Roll even before Elvis came along
and influenced countless other artists and bands in the decades that
followed.

His signature song "Johnny B. Good" is the prototypical rock and roll
anthem.

He truly deserves his title as Founding Father of Rock 'n Roll.

See article below. He is still performing in concerts!!
